We expect the successful applicant to lead development and growth of the Stanford Center for Computational Earth and Environmental Science. The Center, with its shared high productivity computing resources, seeks to expand research and educational opportunities in computational geosciences. This appointment will be with one (or jointly with two) of the four departments in the School of Earth Sciences: Energy Resources Engineering, Geological and Environmental Sciences, Geophysics, and Environmental Earth System Science (proposed).
