Research and teaching at the Department of Geological Sciences (www.geo.su.se) brings classical geology together with geochemistry and marine geology. The Department is also host to the Bolin Centre for Climate Research (www.bolin.su.se). Work tasks The Department of Geological Sciences of Stockholm University is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral fellow on fluid-rock interaction in geological processes. Prioritised focus areas are fluid-interaction studies of relevance to earthquake monitoring, metamorphic fluid flow and/or carbon sequestration. Qualifications You have a PhD in geology or geochemistry. You have an excellent publication record for the stage you are at in your career. You are skilled at applying mathematics and/or geochemistry including geochemical modeling to solve geological problems. You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. You should have good teamwork skills and you are fully able to work independently. Terms of employment The position is full time for two years following an initial trial period of six months. Salaries at Stockholm University are set on an individual basis. You are therefore requested to state you salary requirements. The start date is as soon as possible.
