Senior Lecturer/Lecturer: Sedimentology

The Department of Geological Sciences invites applications for a post at Senior Lecturer/Lecturer level in the general field of Sedimentology.

Requirements entail:

• a PhD in an appropriate field at the time of appointment
• experience in the study of sedimentary rocks and their processes of formation
• ability to lead appropriate undergraduate field courses
• ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• a proven track record of research and publication
• ability to attract research funding and postgraduate students
• ability to establish an international quality research programme
