Qualifications

Ph.D. in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Considerable experience in teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas of specialisation
• Good track record of research and publications in refereed international journals
• Supervision of research leading to M.Sc./M.Phil/Ph.D
• Considerable experience in the industry will be an advantage

Areas of Specialisation

• Engineering Asset Management
• Maintenance Engineering and Management
• Condition Based Monitoring and Diagnostics
• Reliability Engineering and Management

Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to teaching and research activities in Industrial Engineering
• Teach in the Department's postgraduate and undergraduate programmes;
• Coordinate postgraduate programmes;
• Supervise student research projects and provide advisory service to the community on maintenance and safety engineering issues.

Team player with the ability to apply student centered learning methodologies and be committed to the continuous improvement in quality of the department's curriculum at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.
