Contaminated Land Project Manager - Stafford



Up to £30K (depending on experience)

Ecologia is a fast growing and dynamic contaminated land and groundwater consultant/contractor. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our expanding team based at our office in Stafford, with travel throughout the UK and possibly overseas being a requirement of the role.

We would be prepared to consider candidates with a wide range of qualifications and experience to include geo/environmental, contaminated land and construction/groundworks management.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, candidates will be required to take projects from initial design stage through to implementation and completion. Responsibilities will include project cost management; completion within set timescales; leading and working with a multi-skilled teams (to include the management of sub-contractors); interpretative report writing; liaising with clients and regulatory authorities; and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. We would expect candidates to have 5+ years experience (or equivalent) in geo/environmental; contaminated land; civil engineering, including project management experience. Previous experience in dealing with insurance claims would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will have a flexible attitude to work and posses the enthusiasm and drive to deliver the requirements of the role. The ability to work as an effective member of a team and on their own initiative will be essential, along with excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills.

A full UK/EC driving licence is essential.
