We are seeking to appoint experienced Geotechnical Engineers, Engineering Geologist and a Geotechnical Modeller / Analyst wanting to actively contribute to our growth. Our Geotechnical professionals provide comprehensive investigation and design services to a diverse range of clients.
Geotechnical Engineers
- 3 to 10 years post graduate experience;
- Experience carrying out geotechnical investigations, foundation inspections and construction supervision work;
- Ability to carry out site investigations either independently or with limited supervision across Western Australia and overseas as necessary;
- You will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of projects, (assigned to you) including budget and programme control; and
- Articulate and possessing strong analytical and report writing skills.
Senior Engineering Geologist
- 15 + years' post graduate experience;
- Expertise in slope stability analysis and evaluation of monitoring and piezometer data;
- Experience in geohazard assessment and risk analyses;
- Demonstrated experience with piling, deep and shallow foundations, heavy industry plants, heavy foundations, bulk earthworks, site construction supervision and tailings would be advantageous;
- Ability to work independently and lead a small team;
- Excellent report writing skills; and
- Broad exposure to civil and mining projects.
Geotechnical Modeller / Analyst
- 3 - 10 years post graduate experience;
- Post graduate qualifications to doctorate level with an emphasis on finite element analysis and soil / structure interaction;
- Demonstrated experience with numerical modeling software, particularly Plaxis 2D & 3D, FLAC and Abaqus; and
- Experience in modeling excavations, static and dynamically loaded foundation systems, assessments of deflections and coupled soil / groundwater models.
All positions will be Perth based with travel to site required on a as needs basis.
The successful incumbents will be degree qualified in Geotechnical, Geological or Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology. You will possess strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication as well as a strong client focus and demonstrated capability to coordinate inputs from different team members.
