Experienced geotechnical engineer H/F
LOCATION: Verneuil-en-Halatte (60), FRANCE
The position is in the field of geotechnical expertise applied to hazard awareness and risk prevention, in terms of people, property and environmental safety, in the areas of underground storage and geostructures, cavities and new uses of underground space as part of the global energy transition.
Your expertise activity is part of the Institute's tripod, based on applied research, expertise in support of public policies as well as consulting services to companies in France and abroad. You carry out hazard and risk assessment studies concerning:
In addition to these missions, you perform a technical and scientific monitoring on emerging new uses of the underground space and potential risks linked to these. Finally, you contribute to the influence and the valorization of the activities of the Direction through communications, publications and the organization of events.
Mobilities of short duration in France and abroad, with periodic trips to Nancy.
Holder of an engineering degree and / or a doctoral thesis in geotechnical engineering, you have 5 years of professional experience directly related to underground works or industries exploiting underground resources. Your basic knowledge of risk analysis methods, your dynamism as well as the quality of your relationship and your customer contact are assets in the development of the activity of your group and your success in new projects. Your rigor and your synthetical mind complete your writing and oral fluency (reports, presentations), including in English (read, written, spoken).
