The Team

The Future Building Initiative is a new research and teaching lab, hosted jointly by the Monash Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture and the Department of Civil Engineering. The lab engages with architecture and engineering and widely across government and industry in order to influence and transform the design, production, and management of the built environment. The Opportunity

As a member of the Future Building Initiative, the Research Fellow will contribute to an interdisciplinary program of industry-engaged research and also undertake the initiation, development, and delivery of subject material. Teaching also forms an important part of this role and the Research Fellow will commit to regular teaching into Project and Construction Management, Engineering and Architecture Technology.

This position will make an important contribution to the Future Building Initiative's research on the industrialisation of building. The incumbent will work with a large team of researchers, coordinating various aspects of the program and integrating their research with other parallel streams of investigation.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
