Nagra, the Swiss National Cooperative for the Disposal of Radioactive Waste,
is responsible for the planning and implementation of the safe disposal of radioactive
waste generated in Switzerland. The Department of International Services and
Projects (ISP) is responsible for our international consulting services, the operation
of Nagra’s own underground laboratory, the Grimsel Tests Site (www.grimsel.com)
and the corresponding coordination of international cooperative projects.
To strengthen our team we are looking for a technical-scientific project manager.
You should have an engineering or scientific background with an advanced university degree
and a minimum of seven years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- surface and underground exploration of rock formations
- analysis, modelling and integration of geoscientific data
- integrated performance assessment of multibarrier systems
(engineered barrier systems, geosphere, biosphere)
- civil engineering (design and engineering of underground facilities)

well-established partner network. Demonstrated ability to lead and work within
scientific and engineering teams, delivering prompt, efficient and cost-effective results is
a must, as is multi-tasking, a high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel abroad
for short periods. English and German are the working languages of the team.
