This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of a natural hazard risk assessment and loss modeling tool. We are seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic engineer to develop approaches to quantify the impacts of hazards on built environments, communities, business and primary production. This role will contribute to our long-term strategy of improving our understanding, techniques and tools for quantifying the impacts of natural hazard events and the associated impacts of climate change. A bachelor degree in Civil, Natural Resources or Environmental Engineering is essential. You should also have considerable experience in fluid mechanics and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of structural impacts from weather and coastal related natural hazards. The ability to communicate effectively to audiences and your commitment to your clients will ensure you are successful in this role. You will be innovative, self-motivated, have great attention to detail and be able to work within multi-disciplinary project teams.
