Leading Multi-disciplinary consultancy with a workload that includes major infrastructure, power, civil and residential projects are looking to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer into their Ground Engineering Division in the North East.

Working on exciting and challenging projects you should have experience of:

• Supervision of geotechnical / engineering geology works and interpretation of data
• Detailed report writing - geotechnical and geo-environmental
• Foundation design and ground improvement
• Acting as a mentor / advisor to Junior and Graduate members of the division

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level and have a wealth of geotechnical / engineering geology expertise. Experience of contaminated land assessment is also essential as is an appreciation of remediation methods. Geotechnical design experience in relation to slope stability assessments would be advantageous although not essential. You should have the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and have excellent client liaison skills.
