Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering
We seek a strongly committed academic with a background in teaching engineering aspects of sustainability to engineering and mechanical engineering students. Specifically, the incumbent will have knowledge across design for sustainability, sustainable energy and systems and sustainable manufacture. Your key responsibilities will include providing educational leadership, research and teaching within the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Sciences. You will provide ideas towards the development, implementation and delivery of high quality educational programs; successfully develop Sustainability research in accordance with the strategic directions of the Faculty and the University and develop internal and external networks to enhance the role of Sustainability in the University. As the successful candidate you will have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline and eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia.
