The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering is looking to appoint an individual in the field of geotechnical engineering. A State Water sponsored position the appointee is expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and professional activities. Expertise in the field of geotechnical engineering of dams will be desirable.

The successful candidate will teach in the civil and environmental engineering programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in addition to taking on an active role in the School's research program.

The base salary for Associate Professor A$ 99,276 - A$ 109,049, Senior Lecturer is A$ 82,982 - A$ 95,202. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for this position. The appointment will be full time ongoing. The University reserves the right to fill the position by invitation or not to fill the position.
