Qualification/Experience

• Ph.D. in Agricultural/Bio-systems/Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Field Mechanization and Machinery and/or Intelligent Machine Systems or related areas
• Teaching experience in Food Process Engineering will be an advantage
• Track record of refereed publications
• Involvement in submitting successful grant applications

Responsibilities/Specialisation

• Strengthen the activities in the department, in particular
• Bio-systems (Agricultural) Engineering
• Teach Traction and Power Hydraulics, Field Machinery and/or Intelligent Machine Systems and other related Mechanical Engineering courses such as Machine Design, Strength of Materials, Dynamics and Mechanics of Machines

Personal Attributes

• Ability to organize research, service and outreach in Agricultural Engineering and the Caribbean Food Production Community
• Team player and willing to work with various departmental research groups and students
• Creative and innovative
• Student centered
