![]() Water and Environmental Management MScThe impact of climate and societal changes on water resources continues to presents new and complex global challenges. This course explores this highly multi-disciplinary field. You will learn the technical and managerial skills needed to tackle modern water resource and pollution management issues in a broad range of contexts. The course can be studied full-time or part-time and is suitable for graduates in the earth and environmental sciences, geography, engineering, or other related disciplines. Core compulsory modules include water resource management, water treatment technology, wastewater treatment technology, water quality analysis, quantitative techniques, plus a dissertation. Additionally you will select two optional modules from a list that includes hydrogeology, environmental impact assessment, ecological principles and GIS. Graduates take up a wide variety of jobs with civil engineering consultants, water companies, and local or national government bodies in the UK and abroad.
