Senior Transport Planner

South West; Bristol

A leading consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Transport Planner.

The jobholder would be responsible for the following:

• Prepare Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Transport Studies.

• Assist with management of transport planning team and identify and pursue marketing and bidding opportunities with the aim of maximising existing client relationships and developing new markets.

• Project management and technical advisor to graduates. Involvement in private and public sector work, although experience of working with private sector clients would be advantageous.

• Responsible to team leader

The ideal candidate should have Post graduate qualification in Transport Planning and Corporate membership of an appropriate professional body e.g. CMILT. You should also have a Degree in a numerate discipline and substantial wide ranging post graduate experience in transport planning, strong IT skills

You should be enthusiastic, inspirational, have a flexible approach, considerable experience of direct client management, be a team player, interpersonal skills, using initiative, reliable
