Principal/Senior Geotechnical/Contracts ManagerSouth East; London£NEGAn International multi discipline consultancy is looking to recruit a Principal/Senior Geotechnical/Contracts Manager for the London office. They are looking for applicants with sound technical awareness and who have a track record of site and office based management with a ground investigation contractor on investigations of significant value. Applicants should have good project management skills as this is essential in order to effectively liaise with Clients representatives, co-ordinate sub-contractors, organise and technically manage staff to provide effective delivery of site investigations including pre-works activities such as preparation of method statements and health and safety plans, and final factual and interpretative reports. The applicant will be required to undertake financial control of projects realising appropriate profit margins and fulfilment of agreed programmes, ensuring monthly record measurements and timely submission of invoices, and they must also have good factual report writing skills, and interpretative report writing skills would be advantageous. The ideal candidate should hold a BSc in Civil Engineering Geology, Engineering Geology and it is essential that the applicant is able to demonstrate experience in most ground investigation techniques. Knowledge of geotechnical instrumentation is highly desirable.
