Principal Modeller - Water

£35 - 40K

We are seeking an experienced InfoWorks CS hydraulic modeller to support and enhance an existing and expanding modelling team. The role will be to assist the industry recognised Modelling Discipline Manager with the management of modelling of collection systems whilst improving technical quality, together with the development and support of new modellers. As part of the role you will lead an expanding team of modellers and assist in design projects.

Our current work within the team includes; integrated urban modelling, drainage area planning, feasibility and design studies, design of major flood and pollution alleviation projects for numerous clients, pilot research studies for Government bodies, new canal designs, clean water trunk main design and distribution main rehabilitation projects, hydraulic modelling of WwTW and sewerage systems, water cycle studies, clean water DMA modelling and pressure management solutions, river flood risk assessments, design of river weirs, fish passes and overflow chutes and development of procedures and advisory services for water company clients. We have a wide range of clients from Water Plcs, developers, contractors and public bodies.

Desirable Qualifications

Professionally qualified Engineer, for example CEng MICE or CEng MCIWEM

Essential Qualifications

Degree qualified in related subject.

Essential Experience

InfoWorks CS including model build and verification, water quality modelling, UPM studies, model integration.

Personal Characteristics

Flexible, enthusiastic, motivated, team leader. Holds driving licence.
