Water Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis of client regulatory and best practice compliance
- Provision of evidence supporting observations of non compliance
- Recommendations for corrective action to remedy non –compliances
- Report preparation using approved style and content templates in approved
timescales
- Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
as required
- Identification of related areas of non-compliance with particular
reference to Group provided client services
- Compliance with internal business systems
- Make recommendations for improvements in client service and delivery
- Provide an enthusiastic consultancy role.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent (desirable) diploma or higher level health
and safety qualification.
- B-Pec Water Fittings Certificate (preferable)
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Comprehensive understanding of all relevant UK Health & Safety Legislation
relating to Water Hygiene.
- Experience gained within a consultancy environment, ensuring competency to
conduct Legionella risk assessments of domestic water services and cooling
towers/evaporative condensers, in accordance with L8.
- Commercial awareness of pricing and profitability.
- Client focussed.
- Must be well organised, with good time management.
- Self motivated and driven.
- A high energy professional capable of influencing clients at all levels.
- Analytical Mind who can bring clarity to difficult situations
- Ability to work well and continue to deliver results under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, gravitas and an ability to establish
credibility quickly.
- Ability to work under own initiative without the need for direct day to
day management.
- A strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
