One of our clients currently have posts for Safety and Health Environment Advisors to be based in their offices in Warrington. You must be competent to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Providing support for the control of risk, including and advice, to all levels of staff throughout the company,
• Contributing to the drafting and communication of the organisation’s Safety and Health Environment Policies and associated documentation,
• Evaluating, developing, promoting and supporting the establishment and maintenance of Safety and Health Environment Management Systems,
• Promoting and supporting the continuing development of a culture of Safety and Health Environment awareness,
• Promoting and supporting compliance with and improvement of legislative requirements, including Safety and Health Environment inspections and auditing,
• Assisting in the identification of organisational Safety and Health Environmentl training and development needs, including the SHEQual competence of individuals,
• Preparing and presenting Safety and Health Environment training sessions,
• Contributing to, and keeping pace with advances in Safety and Health Environment,
• Providing Safety and Health Environment support and advice to all levels of staff throughout the company

To be successful in this role you will need a background in Environmental Science. In addition you will need a NEBOSH qualification ideally diploma but they will accept a certificate.
