Our client currently has a vacancy for an Environmental Consultant. Work will be varied and to:

• Carry out risk assessments of building water systems for the control of legionellosis including auditing of site records.

• Carry out assessments of ducted air conditioning systems and environmental assessments of occupied areas in relation to indoor air quality.

• Prepare comprehensive reports including observations, recommendations and interpretations of laboratory analysis.

• Liaise with Contract and Project managers in relation to work under their control.

• Give presentations and discussions of the reports with the client as necessary.

• Arrange and carry out all work to meet with agreed Company and client timescales.

Ideally the successful applicant would have a science based qualification

Proven experience of L8 risk assessment is essential

An understanding of building mechanical services and a knowledge of the legislation and guidance relating to water quality and indoor air quality would be preferred.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible with good interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a team player who shows the ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise own workload.

We have vacancies to cover 3 areas:-

Area one is from Thames to M25

Area two is Norfolk, Essex, Suffolk & Berkshire

Area three is Outer M25, kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire
