Our client is looking for a Coastal Scientist/Modeller capable of taking on a role of developing and applying numerical models for hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport and water quality studies for UK and overseas projects. You should have a sound background in coastal processes, mathematics and/or fluid mechanics with a first degree in an appropriately numerical subject. Ideally you should also have a second degree in physical oceanography, coastal engineering or similar. A knowledge of numerical models such as Mike 21, Telemac and/or Delft 3D would be an advantage. package which ties into training and development programmes. You will be required to work well within a team environment and to develop solutions to technically challenging problems.
