The Helmholtz Centre Potsdam – GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences is the national research centre for Earth sciences in Germany. In an interdisciplinary and diverse research group, led by Prof. Friedhelm von Blanckenburg, we develop and apply geochemical tools in Earth surface processes. We quantify physical erosion, chemical weathering, and cycling of elements through soil, plants, ground water, and river water. In the "HELGES Laboratory" (Helmholtz Laboratory for the Geochemistry of the Earth's Surface) we employ several quadrupole ICP-MS systems, optical ICP, high-resolution sector field ICP-MS and stable isotope systems using our multicollector ICP-MS.

The position is, in principle, suitable for part-time employment.
|Salary:||The pay scale grouping will be according to pay group 13 TVöD-Bund (Tarifgebiet Ost) provided that all tariff related and personal requirements are met.|
