Assistant Highway Engineer

My Client is provides consultancy services in all aspects of modern transport systems and infrastructure. They work out of 10 regional office in the UK, along with a number of offices in Europe, they employee over 7000 people and are constantly expanding.

Due to a heavy work load, they are seeking to recruit an Assistant Engineer to join one of their growing teams.

The Successful Candidate will be working on highways schemes including ECI schemes, Design & Build and DBFO both at tender and detailed design stages, also working on Local Council Frameworks. They have a long term workload working in partnership with major contractors and clients throughout the UK.

You will hold a recognised degree and should be working towards Chartered Member of a recognised professional body. You must also have experience in design, assessment and strengthening schemes and be able to work well within a team environment. Knowledge of DMRB and associated design standards and specification would be advantageous.
