Graduate Transport Planner

My Client is an independent and specialised transportation planning and traffic engineering consultancy, undertaking work for public and private sector clients. They encourage all staff to work on a wide range of projects and continue their professional development. They operate out of 6 offices in the Uk and Ireland and focuses on the following specialist areas: Transport Assessment; Traffic Modelling; Road Safety including Safety Auditing; and, Sustainable Transport.

They are seeking to recruit a Graduate Transport Planner/Modeller to join their team in Dublin.

The Successful candidate will be working as part of a team, You will be assisting with the production and delivery of a wide range of transport planning and traffic engineering projects.

Depending on your experience, you will also assist with:

• preparation of project briefs and bidding material;
• client liaison;
• project programming;
• compliance with our quality systems; and,
• production of key deliverables.

You must be educated to degree level (2.1 or higher) in one of the following subjects, Geography, or Civil Engineering, whilst an MSc in Transport Planning is advantageous yet not essential as is any relevant experience.

Candidates should have good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and some knowledge in at least one of our specialist areas.
