Environmental Scientist

My client is a large national engineering firm with 13 UK office bases specialising in Geotechnical and Environmental Science services.

They are actively looking to recruit for Environmental Scientist.

The role will involve a mix of site, lab and office based work. The site work will consist of groundwater and gas monitoring, geotechnical site investigations, contaminated land assessment, environmental impact assessment and soil logging. Lab work will involve testing soil samples for contaminants and geotechnical testing. Office work will be writing up and interpreting technical reports as well as dealing with local authorities and contractors.

The suitable candidate will have experience in the environmental sector with an environmental science, chemical or geotechnical background. You should be familiar with a mix of site and lab work. You will have a full UK driving license and a car. You must be eager to learn, committed and enthusiastic.

An excellent remuneration package is available for this exciting opportunity, and will be negotiable on the successful applicant.
