Geotechnical Design Engineer

Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester, UK
Salary: Ł24 - 28K

My client is a medium sized firm of consulting Engineers specialising in civil, structural and geotechnical based projects.

They are looking for a Geotechnical Design Engineer to strengthen their team.

The role will involve; foundation design, retaining walls, slope stability analysis, earthworks design, planning and designing and carrying out phase 1 and 2 site investigations, writing up technical reports and assisting with all aspects of the business.

The ideal candidate will be educated to preferably MSc level in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering. You will have 3 years in a similar role already. Ideally you will possess strong knowledge of the rail and highways industry. You must have excellent English written and communication skills.
