Senior Contaminated Land Scientist

My client is a leading Geoenvironmental specialist acting as a division of a larger national organisation providing services to a variety of clients in the UK and abroad.

They have an immediate requirement for a Senior Contaminated Land Scientist to lead their Land division.

As a Senior Scientist the role will involve organising and preparing teams to carry out site investigations and assessments of contaminated land. You will carry out quantitative and qualitative risk assessments. You will be using specialist software such as CLEA, Sniffer and Consim. You will be expected to use your knowledge and expertise to develop and design innovative remediation techniques. You will assist in the development of Junior staff members and aid them in their learning.

You should possess excellent BDM skills, and be able to maintain, create and develop client relations.

The successful applicant should have a degree preferably to MSc level in Contaminated Land or Environmental Geoscience. You will have a minimum of 5 years in the field already. You must be competent in dealing with clients and communicating with people on all levels.
