Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

My client is a medium sized multi-disciplinary consultancy providing their services to a range of private and public sector clients.

They are actively looking for a fresh Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their rapidly expanding Geoenvironmental team.

The role will involve conducting desk studies, contaminated land investigations, carrying out environmental impact assessments, groundwater and gas monitoring, carrying out environmental risk assessments, carrying out phase 1 and 2 site investigations, window sampling, trial pitting and analysis of slope stability. The majority of this role will be site based to develop your site skills. You will be expected to assist in writing up technical reports.

As the perfect candidate you will have an engineering based BSc degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Geoscience or Engineering Geology. Having a MSc will be advantageous. It would be advantageous if you have any site experience.
