Graduate CAD Technician

My client is a leading provider of geotechnical and environmental services with offices based around the UK.

They are looking for a Graduate CAD Technician to assist their Senior Technicians.

The role will involve; creating CAD drawings for geotechnical and environmental site investigations to Engineers specification from downloaded dwg/dxf.files and producing drawings and records for the Senior Geotechnical Engineers.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in; Geology or Environmental Science, as this will aid the understanding of the source of the data for the drawings. You will be enthusiastic, committed and willing to learn and develop yourself in this role. You should have an interest in branching a career into a CAD role assisting Geotechnical services. You should be a proficient computer user.

My client will train you on their ICE approved training scheme. They will fund you to go on external training courses. Also there will a great deal of in-house promotion and training opportunities within the company.
