Senior Geotechnical Engineer

My client is a leading and developing international multi-disciplinary consultancy.

They are actively searching to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to strengthen the established Geotechnical team in Scotland.

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will play a leading role in the office assisting in the coordination and running of geotechnical projects. The candidate must possess strong project management skills as they will be organising all project work and leading the geotechnical investigations. They will be involved in the tendering of bills, fee proposals, managing both the technical and financial aspects of projects, as well as training Junior staff members. They will design and lead phase 1 and 2 site investigations, slope stability analysis, geotechnical and foundation design and earth works, treating shallow mine works and interpreting and creating technical reports.

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role. You should have achieved or be near achieving Chartered status.
