The Graduate School Human Development in Landscapes in the frame of the excellence initiative invites applications for a

Post-Doctoral Position

to begin as soon as possible.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to conduct research on a topic of their choice as it relates to the broader theme of human interaction with environments. The analytical approach used to pursue the research topic is open, and we encourage applicants from a wide variety of analytical and theoretical backgrounds ranging from cultural anthropology, to archaeological science, to history, to ecology, etc.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in a field relevant to the multidisciplinary theme of 'Human Development in Landscapes' and a strong record of research and publication (please read the homepage http://www.uni-kiel.de/landscapes/. Candidates will be evaluated on the strength and novelty of their research proposal, previous research background, and publication record in internationally recognized journals.

The duration of this post is for three years, renewable until October 2017 at the TV-L 13 (100%) level. All position holders can apply for research funds from the Graduate School.
