The University of Bremen is offering – conditional to the release of budgetary funds – the following position for a Junior Research Group Leader We are seeking candidates with strong scientific track records in the field of marine geomicrobiology, but will also consider outstanding candidates from related fields. We invite applicants with experience in a broad range of interdisciplinary methods such as biogeochemical, mineralogical, molecular biological, or imaging techniques as well as in field work, preferably at sea. The successful applicant will be expected to forge a bridge between and interact with research groups at the MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences and Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology.
