Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following positions: Research Specialists in the Center for Marine and Wetland Studies.

Duties will include: This position is responsible for conducting bathymetric and geophysical surveys, deployment and operation of a range of hydrodynamic and other oceanographic instrumentation, and associated data processing, data archive and compilation.

Requirements: Experience operating and maintaining marine electronics, geophysical, hydrographic, hydrodynamic and other oceanographic and environmental monitoring and survey instrumentation and associated software, demonstrated skills in operating small boats, field vehicles and rigging/deploying marine electronics required. B.S. in oceanography, geology, coastal engineering or related field preferred. Positions are full time, annual appointment positions with benefits that are contingent upon funding availability.
