Position Requirements:

  • Doctoral qualification in a relevant ecohydrology, marine science, oceanography field paired with subsequent research experience.
  • Sound knowledge of the physical functioning of estuaries and coastal ecosystems, and an understanding of the elements of hydrostatics, hydraulics, open channel flow, climate change and risk analysis hydrodynamics.
  • Demonstrated track record of working with industry, environmental managers or engineers.
  • Demonstrated evidence of other science communication activities (presentations at national and international conferences, public media etc.
