  • Experience of vessel-mounted ADCP, dye tracing surveys and general hydrographic survey experience.
  • Ability to produce high quality written reports including discussions of technical methods and critical analysis of data.
  • Experience of safe vessel operations.
  • Commercially focused project management.
  • Competent user of MS Office and data analysis software (e.g. Matlab, Surfer).
  • A strong commitment to Health and Safety.
  • Experience of working diligently within a Quality and Environmental Management System.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with other staff and third parties.
  • The ability and motivation to grow the oceanographic division of Partrac.

Qualifications include a minimum of MSc in oceanography, engineering, or physical sciences plus 5-10 years of proven experience in physical oceanographic related projects. Offshore and medical certificates are an advantage.

This unique position commands a competitive basic salary, offshore allowance and an annual performance related bonus. The post will be based in Partrac's Glasgow office.
