Individuals using cutting-edge tools to investigate drivers of population variability, including connectivity of populations and ecosystems, complex food-web interactions relevant for ecosystem-based management approaches, and habitat quality/utilization are urged to apply. Expectations include establishing a vigorous externally funded research program, publishing in peer reviewed journals, contributing to teaching of resident undergraduates in the Institute for the Environment Program, directing graduate students and serving to advise resource managers. Expected qualifications include: an earned PhD in a relevant scientific discipline with post-doctoral experience and evidence of scientific accomplishment in the form of peer reviewed publications.
