Requirements:

• 10 or more years experience in resource geology (both fieldwork and computer estimation)
• Proficient user of one of the commercial modelling systems such as Datamine, Gemcom, Vulcan, Micromine, Minesight, etc.
• Professional Geologist or eligible for registration in a relevant professional association (GSL, IGI, EFG, AusIMM, CIMM, etc)
• Experience of geostatistical estimation techniques
• Knowledge of a variety of mineral deposit types
• Ability to work independently
• Entitled to work within the UK and EU
• Willingness to travel abroad for short periods on project work
• Good communication and report writing skills
• Willingness to contribute new ideas

AMEC's UK mining team are based in Ashford (Kent) and London, however AMEC has offices throughout the UK. Work location for this post will be agreed by mutual discussion.
