An International Market Research Group requires a Senior Iron Ore Market Analyst to join its professional team in the UK and/or Australia. The analyst will form part of a highly respected team responsible for researching the metals sector and specifically the iron ore industry. This role requires the ability to critically assess new sources of information within a complex analytical framework, in an appropriate timeframe. The analyst will be able to draw together his/her understanding of the many divergent threads of the market and to communicate this to the client base. The role would be ideal for a candidate who is looking to develop their career as an analyst and will allow for opportunities in new areas of research, new product developments and in consulting assignments. Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Economics / Business or Mining / Geology / Metallurgical Engineering etc.), the role holder will have significant iron ore related experience, ideally in a market or business analysis environment, employment in a resource company or in the financial sector.
