International Mining Company requires an experienced Exploration Manager to provide strategic insight into the acquisition and development of new prospects prior to full market realisation in Africa. The role will involve identifying new prospects before full market value is realised, providing analysis and recommendations on exploration activities on new iron ore formations and coal deposits on a worldwide basis, providing strategic focus on key regions to target, taking into account socio-economic factors and company strategy, and assisting with shortlisting M&A opportunities and providing input on geological properties of ore bodies. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Geology and at least 10 years relevant experience in exploration, plus strong geological block modelling, ore reserve evaluation, orebody reconciliation, geostatistical analysis and report writing skills.
