Experienced Exploration Manager / Country Manager required for a mineral exploration and development company currently active in sub-Saharan Africa. The Exploration Manager/Country Manager will be required to run the exploration for two projects. Duties will include planning of exploration from grassroots stages to resource drilling stages; liaison with government officials; liaison with consultants; quality assurance and quality control and geological database management plus modelling of internal gold and base metal resources. Previous experience in projects in Africa is desirable and a competent user of mining and geological software. Competitive salary and benefits to the right person.
