International Consultancy Group requires a Senior Resource/Exploration Geologist with operational and resource estimation experience to join an expanding team in Kazakhstan. The role will involve the preparation of geological models and accompanying report along with signing off mineral resources and Competent Person reports. In addition to consulting on technical issues, you will be expected to establish and maintain client relationships and work effectively in a team environment. This position requires strong networking and communication skills and sound interpersonal capabilities. The successful applicant will have: a degree or equivalent in a mining related subject with the majority of experience gained in an international (non-UK) environment; be a member of a recognised professional organisation; the ability to sign-off mineral resources as a Competent or Qualified Person; have good operational experience with exposure to all aspects of mining - both open pit and underground.

The candidate must have strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and be proficient in using major geological software. The position is based in Almaty and will attract a good remuneration package. Please quote Reference Number PNEW4973 when applying.
