Technical/Field Sales Representative

IDS's North American subsidiary, IDS North America, offers a complete range of ground penetrating radar (GPR), borehole and interferometric radar products for use in mining, civil engineering, transport, geological and archaeological applications

POSITION: Sales representative for the mining product line

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sales Representative is responsible for selling, marketing and promoting all the services and products offered by the Georadar Division of IDS North America, particularly the products focused on mining applications. The sales representative reports weekly on each customers' and prospects' sales potential and needs and participate in the establishment of sales forecasts, objectives and customer value propositions.

EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in sales in the Mining industry.

SKILLS: Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Very good interpersonal skills;
  • Fully bilingual and proficiency in English and French;
  • Established network in the mining industry;
  • Self starter;
  • Be result oriented

This position requires frequent travel across the country and North America and therefore a valid passport and driver's license is required.
