Mine Production Engineer

A rare opportunity to work in the warm climate of Western Australia for one of the world's largest unhedged gold producers. In a mine site consisting of 4 open pits and 4 underground mines based near Kalgoorlie.
This position is available as a residential role living in Kalgoorlie and working on a 5:2 roster, enabling you to get home each evening.
The Role
- Designing of production plans and schedules
- Work closely with the Planning department to ensure accurate short, medium and long term plans.
- Manage the activities of the production, planning and drill & blast processes on a daily basis
- Assist with bench operation plans
You will have
- Degree in Mining Engineering
- 5 years experience in surfacing mining, with exposure to drilling, blasting, planning and scheduling
- Gold experience would be preferred
