SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd is based in Cardiff, Wales - Europe's youngest capital city. We offer a variety of interesting and challenging projects working from a capital city location. Many of our projects are of an international nature and utilise SRK's international consulting network.

SRK Consulting (UK) is seeking a Consultant level Mining Engineer to join an expanding Due Diligence team. The primary work will entail financial modelling and carrying out technical assessments of mining and exploration projects.

Applicants should, as a minimum, have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a mining related discipline together with essential skills and experience in cost analysis, financial modelling and reporting. We are looking for applicants with experience in open pit and/or underground mining environments. The work will also encompass contributing financial modelling skills to scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies.

Excellent communication, technical report writing and project management skills, together with a high level of numeracy, are essential.

This position involves working in multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects in the UK and overseas and international travel will form a significant part of the role. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of a foreign language would also be advantageous.
