Project Manager, Project Support ServicesLocation: Sudbury, Ontario, Canada Apply to: www.valeinco.appone.com Description: The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the work provided by shared service personnel, such as project controllers and ventilation, environmental and infrastructure engineers, to support the completion of engineering studies from scoping level through feasibility. Position Requirements: The Project Manager - Support Services must have a broad knowledge of engineering services, mine design, mining methods, mine utilities (air, water, power supply), mine maintenance systems, cost estimating, budgeting, Capital appropriation processes (business cases, budget development) and scheduling. Requires detailed knowledge of project management techniques (cost controls, variance reporting, and resource allocation), financial evaluation, human resource management and cost/scope management.
