Description:

The purpose of the role is to coordinate the execution of projects of varying complexity. The Construction Coordinator will ensure the successful construction of assigned projects monitoring the constraints of SAFETY, COST, SCHEDULE and DELIVERABLES. The incumbent will be part of the project team and provide daily progress reports to all of the stakeholders. The incumbent will be intimately familiar with Vale Inco engineering standards and good construction practices. The person will also be expected to be knowledgeable in each project contract, scope of work and drawings and through this knowledge to ensure Vale Inco's interests are protected. The incumbent will be expected to coordinate the construction aspects of multiple projects simultaneously.

Position Requirements:

• Must have field experience in electrical mechanical and concrete construction.
• Strong documentation skills.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• Community College graduate with an Engineering Technologist diploma or a Community College graduate in a qualified trade

Experience:

• 8 - 10 years professional working experience with 3 years experience in an Engineering Technologist field
