Description:

The Commissioning and Handover Manager directs the development, implementation, and updating of a comprehensive management system for the commissioning and handover to operations of projects managed by the Industrial Implementation group. This position provides the leadership and expertise to insure the facilities are fully commissioned prior to acceptance by operations and liaises with the Business Unit operations personnel to insure the handover is well coordinated and meets the project business objectives. The role holder reports directly to the Director, Industrial Project Implementation but equally supports the site project management teams during the commissioning and handover stages of the project execution.

Position Requirements:

• Working knowledge of applicable environmental, health and safety standards
• Good Knowledge of processes, facilities and operational/maintenance procedures
• Ability to select and provide technical guidance to a commissioning team in a cooperative work environment
• Ability to use sound, prudent, and independent judgment
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with employees at all levels of the company.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related technical, scientific, or engineering discipline

Experience:

• 8-10 years or more in a managerial or supervisory position with a good balance between both plant operations and project execution during the facility commissioning phase.
