The Constructability Manager is the senior resource for execution planning and constructability reviews for the Industrial project development group. The person directs the Implementation group input to the FEL (feasibility) 3 studies for Industrial projects to insure that the project can be safely, efficiently and cost effectively executed as designed and planned This position provides the leadership and expertise to all Project Managers to execute the project as planned and to address any project specific issues that were not anticipated in the plan. The role holder reports directly to the Director, Industrial Project Implementation but equally supports the site project management teams during execution.

• Working knowledge of best practices in the construction industry
• Knowledge of facility and operational procedures
• Ability to foster and develop a cooperative work environment
• Ability to use sound, prudent, and independent judgment
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with employees at all levels of the company

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience; bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

• 10-15 years or more years in site project and/or construction management in a large project environment in the industrial or mining sector

License/Professional Requirements:

• Ability to work with standard Project and Construction management software, reporting systems and performance indicators related to planning and schedules, cost estimates, cost forecasts, etc.
