Cover Mapping Branch, Geological Survey and Resource Strategy Division
In this postion you will be working within the Geological Survey and Resource Strategy Division. Drawing on your geoscience studies and experience in project management you will lead and manage project-based geoscientific studies at a high technical level.
Your expertise will assist you to provide advice on issues pertaining to regolith mapping, the acquisition and interpretation of geophysical datasets, and the design and management of drilling programs, including management of Geological Survey and Resource Strategy Division participation in the MinEx Cooperative Research Centre.
This position is located in East Perth however, you may be required to work at other sites as required.
What do you require to successfully undertake the role?
- Bachelor of Science (Geoscience) or an approved equivalent Degree.
- Experience in project management including high-level judgement in the planning and organisation of geoscience work.
- Substantial experience in advanced geoscience studies and a demonstrated ability to compile high qualitycomprehensive reports and maps to publication standard
- Experience in managing collaborative research in geoscience.
